The Ayahuasca ceremonies takes place in the evening. The Sacred Journeys team will pick you up around 4pm from your hotel and transfer you to Chinchero in the Sacred Valley where the ceremony with be held. Note that you have the option of spending the night after the ceremony in Chinchero, Cusco or the Sacred Valley. When you arrive receive an introduction to the medicine you will be receiving and the workings of the master plants. The Ayahuasca ceremony lasts around 3 to 4 hours all through the process you will be guided by the Master who will support you with rituals and icaros, healing songs.
The Master will determine the amount of medicine to be given to each participant based on their energy levels and mental strength. Each does is tailored to each individual needs. When the ceremony is concluded we will transport you back to your hotel for a good nights rest.
