This fascinating journey begins when you land in the Inca capital of Cusco. The Sacred Journeys Family will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the Sacred Valley. Stop at a traditional Peruvian restaurant to enjoy a welcome lunch. Starting your journey in the Sacred Valley will make you feel energized for the exciting days ahead. Transfer to your beautiful hotel and after being settled have a meeting with your guide about the coming days. Later have a Welcome Ceremony to connect with the Andean spirits before relaxing at your hotel for the night.

This morning after breakfast we set out to the town of the Rainbow, Chinchero. The town is located high in the plains of the valley and has wonderful views of the Sacred Valley and is famous for its traditional weaving. In the village with your guide meet the local artisans and learn about the techniques that have been used for centuries. You will also be able to purchase these beautiful pieces. Our Master will introduce you to Mama Coca, a spirit that will connect you to wisdom.
In a heartfelt ceremony to honor Pachamama, Mother Earth, we’ll make a small offering and reflect on the harmony between nature and our lives, feeling inspired to carry this sense of gratitude and respect with us long after we leave.
Later experience a ceremony to Pachamama, the Earth Mother where you have the chance to make a offering. Experience the harmony between nature and life which will leave you inspired to receive gratitude and recept.

This morning we will have a wonderful breakfast and later travel to Anta Valley. This agricultural region is home to small villages that feature adobe houses, field of produce like grain and quinoa and livestock. Travel and visit the archaeological site of Quillarumiyoc, the temple of the Moon. Here you will see the buildings, fountains and the Moonstone, a limestone boulder that is unique to the site. Experience the ancient Inca trails perfect for a short hike.
Explore the caves at Quillarumiyoc where you will see the ancient carving made by the Inca that represent the spirits. Late explore the temple of the Quillarumiyoc water priests, see the Inca architecture and the mini waterfall where you can cleanse and free the mind. See the Quillarumiyoc Moon Temple containing the Inca trilogy that functioned as an astronomical and spiritual calendar.
Today, we also have our first optional opportunity to work with San Pedro (Wachuma). San Pedro is a powerful and sacred – yet gentle – “teacher and healer” plant traditionally used to heal the heart in times of extreme pain and emotional hurt. It is important to work with this medicine as part of a sacred ceremony and with the protection of the ancestral spirits.

From this experience gain insights into the importance of the coca leaf to this ancient culture.

Today, we embark on a journey to the stunning Pitusiray Glacier, nestled in Calca in the Sacred Valley. Starting at 8:00 am, we’ll travel to the village of Huaran, where our trail begins, leading us uphill for about an hour toward Pitusiray and its twin peak, Sawasiray. Surrounded by magnificent views, we’ll take in the powerful beauty of this sacred landscape. Today also offers a unique opportunity to work with San Pedro (Wachuma), a revered and gentle “teacher plant” traditionally used for heart healing. During a carefully guided ceremony, under the watch of ancestral spirits, this sacred medicine helps us connect deeply with the energies of the Andean mountains, opening pathways for emotional healing, insight, and transformation.
This morning exciting adventure will take us to the beautiful Pitusiray Glacier, located near Calca in the heart of the Sacred Valley. Travel to the small village of Haran the start of our trek. Walk up hill for about an hour to Pitusiray and Sawasiray. Take in the magnificent views and experience the powerful beauty of this landscape. Today again experience the healing of San Pedro. During the carefully guided ceremony, with the spirits connect deeply with the energy of the Andes. This will help with emotional healing, insight and transformations. Later transfer to Cusco, rest and relax in your hotel.

This morning we explore the incredible sites close to Cusco, Moray and Maras. Starting with Moray see the fascinating experimental circular terraces used by the Inca to experiment with the growth of crop. This site is believed to have been built before Inca times. Experience the energy and learn about how the Inca adapted the site to the lands climate. Later we make our way to the salt mines of Maras, here see the thousands of terraced salt ponds that been harvested by the same families for generations. See the shimmering pools that are surreal against the Andes. An awe inspiring sight and a testament to the harmony of the people and the land.
Later with all the beauty and history of the Sacred Valley in our hearts travel back to Cusco where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a visit to Sacsayhuamán, where we’ll stand in awe of this impressive stone-walled complex and uncover the mysteries and legends surrounding its construction. Then, your guide will lead us through a profound rebirth experience in a nearby cave, known as the Cosmic Mother or the Womb of Mother Earth, where we’ll reconnect with the ancient energies of the land. We’ll continue our journey to the Temple of the Moon, followed by a visit to the Temple of the Condor, where we’ll take part in a private Andean Initiation Ceremony to honor and connect with our ancestral lineages. In this sacred space, we’ll explore the teachings of the Inca trilogy—the Puma, Serpent, and Condor—and learn about the Incan elders’ beliefs on parallel dimensions. In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a heartfelt Farewell Dinner, a time to share stories, reflect on our journey, and celebrate the bonds we’ve formed during this sacred adventure.
Today after breakfast at our hotel, travel to Sacsayhuaman just outside of Cusco. Discover this impressive stone walled Inca complex and learn its mysteries and legends about its history and construction. Our guide will lead us through a rebirthing experience in the cave that is known as the Cosmic Mother, here connect with the ancient energies. Continue to the Temple of the Moon and the Temple of the Condor. Take part in an Andean Initiation ceremony to honor the ancient lineages. Explore the teaching of the Inca trilogy and learn from the masters about the beliefs on parallel dimensions. After a truly wonderful day gather for a farewell dinner, to reflect on our journey and celebrate with our fellow travelers.
